Diagnosis. FEMALE. Subcapitular setae m lanceolate, pointed apically. Setae vi slightly wider than e2. Setae e1 and f1 narrow lanceolate. Distances c1-d1 and d1-d2 subequal. Vulvar region distinctly ornamented. Setae ps3 very short (5 long), almost straight. Setae ag2 at least twice longer than ag1. Setae 1b and 1d about 2 times thicker and longer than 1a. Setae 2a and 3a whip-like, much longer than 2b. Trochanter I without ventral projection and tubercles. Measurements of holotype ( Fain & Lukoschus 1977): body, including gnathosoma, 445 long, 250 maximum wide. Lengths of setae: si 110, se 90, c1 and d1 55–67, and d2 60–70, e2 48, 2 a and 3a 90–100, 4a 50.

MALE. Unknown.

FEMALE TRITONYMPH. Not described.

Type host and locality. Phaiomys leucurus [ Microtus blythi ] from India (Kashmir) ( Fain & Lukoschus 1976, 1977).

Hosts and distribution. No records since the original description ( Fain & Lukoschus 1976).

Material examined. Phaiomys leucurus — 1 female paratype ( ZISP) ( USNM 84.119 ), INDIA: Kashmir , Ladakh, 9 April 954, coll. unknown .

Type deposition. Radfordia ladakensis —USNM, female holotype (not examined).
