Type host and locality. Synaptomys borealis from North West of USA ( Bochkov & Mironov 1998) .
Hosts and distribution. This species was definitely recorded only on the type host, Synaptomys borealis from North West of USA (type series) ( Bochkov & Mironov 1998). The record of Radfordia lemnina from Synaptomys cooperi from USA (Indiana) ( Wassel et al. 1980) should probably be referred to Radfordia synaptomysi .
Material examined. Synaptomys borealis — Female holotype ( ZISP Т- My-12), 6 female and 1 female TN paratypes ( ZISP, unlisted), USA: North West of USA, August 1985, coll. R. Pitka.
Type deposition. Radfordia synaptomysi —ZISP, female holotype (T-My-12) (examined).
