Subgenus Idiovulpecula Karisch, 2013
Idiovulpecula Karisch, 2013 , Esperiana View in CoL 18: 85.
Type species: Chionaema pretoriae Distant, 1897 ( Figs 14, 15 View FIGURES 9–15 , 23 View FIGURES 20–23 , 31 View FIGURES 29–32 ).
Diagnosis. The male genitalia of the subgenus are characterized by the juxta bearing a medial ventral crest, large medial costal protrusion of valva bearing a heavily sclerotised transverse crest (among other subgenera, only Strigivulpecula Karisch, 2013 has such a well-developed medial costal protrusion, but with a reduced crest), and robust distal saccular process being strongly curved dorsad. The female genitalia are more characteristic and differ from those of other subgenera by the heavily sclerotised postvaginal plate.
