5. Flacourtia parvifolia Merr. View in CoL ( Flacourtiaceae ) in Lingnan Sci. J. 6(4): 328. 1928. TYPE:— CHINA. Hainan: Daam Chau (i.e. Danzhou), 21 May 1928, W. T. Tsang 425 (i.e. Lingnan University Herbarium 17174) (holotype: UC 357019 image!; isotype: A 00112263 image!, NY 00107410 image!).
Tsang Wai Tak 17174 (UC) was the only gathering cited in the protologue of the name Flacourtia parvifolia Merr. (Merrill, 1928b). However, the collection number on the label of the holotype specimen is 425, while the herbarium number is Lingnan University Herbarium 17174. Thus, the erroneous collection number cited in the designation of type is to be corrected.
