19. Scindapsus megaphyllus Merr. View in CoL ( Araceae ) in Lingnan Sci. J. 9(1-2): 36. 1930. TYPE:— CHINA. Hainan: Dan Xian , 19 May 1928, W. T. Tsang 380 (i.e. Lingnan University Herbarium 17129), (holotype: UC 357022 image!; isotypes: GH 00028724 image!, NY 03803247 image!).
Tsang Wai Tak 17129 (UC) was the only gathering cited in the protologue of the name Scindapsus megaphyllus Merr. , and the date of collection was cited as May 19, 1929 (Merrill, 1930). However, the collection number on the label of the holotype specimen is 380, while its herbarium number is Lingnan University Herbarium 17129, and the date of collection is May 19, 1928. Thus, the collection number and the date of collection cited in the protologue are to be corrected.
