Female: Body length: 0.92 mm. Head and body black, radicle and scape yellow ( Fig. 18 View FIGURES 17 – 22. 17 ), F1–F5 yellow to brownish-yellow, F6–F9 deep brown; legs yellow, except coxae dark brown to black. Head transverse in dorsal view; frons without distinct submedian carinae, central keel weakly developed; frons width> eye height (31:23); OD:OOL = 3.26:3.92; scape 5.23x as long as wide, 3x as long as radicle; antennal segments in relative proportions (length: width) from scape: 21.19:4.05, 7.48:3.12, 4.36:2.49, 3.43:3.12, 2.49:2.80, 2.49:3.12, 3.12:3.74, 4.98:4.36, 5.30:4.67. Netrion obscured by general sculpture of pronotum; anterior declivous portion of mesoscutum smooth and shining ( Fig. 19 View FIGURES 17 – 22. 17 ); notaulus absent; acetabular field, anteroventral portion of mesepisternum glabrous; postepimeral foveae with 8–9 impressions; forewings exceeding tip of metasoma in flexed position; relative proportions (length) of postmarginal, marginal, and stigma veins: 16.8:8:11.5. T2 finely longitudinally striate in basal half, distally with cross-striae present; and S2 with deep sulci arrayed in pattern of nearly concentric circles, setal fields greatly reduced.
Male: Body length: 0.97 mm. Similar to female except, scape 5x as long as wide, 2.73x as long as radicle; antennomeres in relative proportions (starting with scape; length: width): 18.70:3.74, 6.86:3.43, 4.98:3.74, 4.05:3.74, 4.67:4.05, 3.74:3.43, 3.43:3.12, 3.74:3.74, 3.74:3.74, 3.12:3.74, 2.80:3.74, 7.48:3.43; frons width> eye height (20.23:29.37), lateral ocellus separated from eye by distance greater than its own major diameter, OD:OOL = 3.3:4.9.
Material Examined. INDIA: Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, 1 female, 1 male, 8–10.XI.1979, coll. J.S. Noyes, det. NF Johnson, 1982. Female complete, good condition on pointed card; male right wings and abdomen broken, on same pointed card ( NPC).
