Diagnosis. The diagnosis of the genus is modified from Townes (1970) and Sheng et al. (2020).

Fore wing length 4.8–9.3 mm. Clypeus 2.3–3.8 × as wide as long, shining, usually with fine punctures, apical margin truncate. Mandible large and long, with dense setae medially; lower tooth of mandible as long as or longer than upper tooth ( Figs 2 View FIGURES 1–3 , 16 View FIGURES 15–17 , 29 View FIGURES 28–30 ). Dorsal end of epicnemial carina reaching anterior margin of mesopleuron. Areolet usually present, obliquely triangular, receiving 2m-cu closing its lower-posterior corner ( Figs 21 View FIGURES 18–22 , 35 View FIGURES 31–36 ). Hind wing vein 1-cu at least 2.0 × as long as cu-a. Propodeum without carinae, or hardly with weak indistinct carinae. First tergite long to very long and slender, spiracle located at its middle, latero-median carinae absent ( Figs 11 View FIGURES 10–14 , 24 View FIGURES 23–27 , 38 View FIGURES 37–41 ). Setae on female hypopygium pointed obliquely backward ( Figs 14 View FIGURES 10–14 , 27 View FIGURES 23–27 , 41 View FIGURES 37–41 ). Postero-lateral portion of metasoma usually white or yellowish white.
