( Figs 1F , 4F ) 3 syntypes (☿): “ M. Smithii ☿ Type Forel, Ashburton N. Zealand (Smith)”. The label data of the syntypes fits perfectly with the locality given by Forel (1892a: 13), where he mentions “Ashburton, Neu-Seeland [New Zealand] (W. W. Smith)”.
