SUBFAMILY ORTHOCLADIINAE

The only genus of Orthocladiinae found, Parakiefferiella Kieffer , is distinguished here by the presence of a modestly developed unstriated ventromental plate ( Fig 17 , vmp), antenna with short 3 rd segment ( Fig. 18 ) and rather extended apical mandibular tooth ( Fig. 19 ).
