Diagnosis. Gonostylus long, rounded distally, middle portion slightly swollen, with a clump of setae; ejaculatory apodeme exceeding base of terminalia; gonocoxal apodeme short; tergite IX without meso-anterior incision; wing membrane brownish antero-distally and along distal veins, crossvein m-m far from origin of M2.

Male. Body length, 8.0–9.0 mm. Wing length, 5.5–5.8 mm. General color brown. Eyes dark brown, facets homogenous, ocellar tubercle dark brown, ocelli yellowish. Gena and clypeus gray, clypeus bare. Antenna dark brown; scape with setae, as long as pedicel; pedicel almost cubic; first flagellomere suboval, shorter than pedicel ( Figure 26 View FIGURES 25 – 28 ). Maxillary palpus long ( Figure 27 View FIGURES 25 – 28 ); proboscis and labella golden yellow. Occiput gray, with silvery iridescent setae.

Thorax brown, with golden setae, scutellum lighter than scutum. Halter bare, stem yellowish, dark tip. Coxae light brown, with silvery iridescent setae; femora yellowish, with golden setae; tibiae darker than femora. Wing membrane brownish antero-distally, along distal veins and very close to basal veins ( Figure 25 View FIGURES 25 – 28 ); pterostigma pigmented; R2+3 reaching C rather apart from R1 (distance longer than r-m), without distal sinuosity; R4 forking with almost right angle, without short appendage, distally curved toward anterior margin; CuA2 and A1 fusing close to margin; crossvein m-m far from origin of M2.

Abdomen brown, tergite and sternite of first two segments lighter. Gonocoxite and gonostylus golden yellow; gonostylus elongated, distally rounded, middle portion slightly swollen, bearing a clump of setae; aedeagus long; ejaculatory apodeme exceeding base of terminalia; lateral ejaculatory process projected parallel; gonocoxal apodeme short ( Figure 29 View FIGURES 29 – 33 ); tergite IX without meso-anterior cleft ( Figure 30 View FIGURES 29 – 33 ); cercus dark brown.

Female. Body length, 9.8–10.5 mm. Wing length, 6.2–7.0 mm. Thorax and abdomen similar to male. Anterior margin of sternite VIII almost rounded, hypogynial valves with 10-12 long setae ( Figure 32 View FIGURES 29 – 33 ); genital fork with proximal portion cephalad, distal apodeme enlarged and curved ( Figure 33 View FIGURES 29 – 33 ); cercus two-segmented, distal segment elongated ( Figure 31 View FIGURES 29 – 33 ); common spermathecal duct short, spermathecal ducts long; spermathecae slender and oblong ( Figure 28 View FIGURES 25 – 28 ).
