Identity: Cydia rymarczyki Varenne & Nel, 2013

Remarks. Cydia rymarczyki was described from four male specimens and a single female and compared with the morphologically similar C. amplana (H̹bner, 1800) and C. molybdana (Constant, 1884) ( Varenne & Nel 2013a) . We obtained a 636 bp DNA barcode sequence of the holotype which is ca. 5.9% divergent to C. amplana , the nearest neighbour in BOLD.
