Type species. Rhinomacer attelaboides Fabricius 1787 View in CoL , by original designation.
Cimberis View in CoL , the only nemonychid genus in Wisconsin, can be recognized by mandibular form: each mandible is evenly curved on its outer edge in dorsal and lateral views and each is armed with a strong tooth on the inner edge; the mandibular sockets are only partially exposed dorsally.
