Diagnosis. [adapted from Evenhuis (2002) and Mendes et al. (2019)].Head narrower than thorax; second flagellomere with stylus placed subapically; vein A 1 absent; genital fork V-shaped or U-shaped; cell dm complete; apical venation of the medial and anal fields reaching the wing margin, vein R 2+3 originating from Rs about ¾ distance from R 1 to r-m crossvein.
