Diagnosis. Adult ( Fig. 21G View FIGURE 21 ). Wingspan 10.0 mm. Superficially, T. hexanesa is somewhat similar to the members of the subocellea -group as it has a greyish forewing sprinkled with dark fuscous or black scales. However, T. hexanesa is different not only from the subocellea -group but also from most of the congeneric species as it does not have an apical spot and dark apical ciliation. This species is distinguished from other species by the forewing with distinct six black spots situated from near base to distal 1/4 and the smaller black spots scattered along the costa and the dorsum in distal half of the wing. The male genitalia are diagnosed by the broad tongue-shaped uncus, the uniform and straight valva and the elliptical anellus lobe bearing two long bristles, one at apex and the other near apex.

Distribution. China (Hainan), Sri Lanka.

Remarks. This species is recorded from China for the first time.
