Material examined. CHINA: Hubei Province: 1 ♂, 2 ♀♀, Taohuachong (30.98°N, 116.02°E), 635 m GoogleMaps , Yingshan County, 24, 25.vi.2014, leg. Wei Guan and Meiqing Yang, genitalia slide nos. Diagnosis. Adult ( Fig. 13E View FIGURE 13 ). Wingspan 12.0− 14.5 mm. This species can be recognized by the white forewing with longitudinal streaks in the distal half. A fuscous broad band is sometimes present from the middle of costa to the basal 1/3 of dorsum across wing, but it is often broadly interrupted by the white ground color, leaving two large patches on the costa and the dorsum, respectively. The male genitalia ( Fig. 38D View FIGURE 38 ) are very similar to those of T. fuscobasis , but T. corylella has a larger anellus lobe bearing a robust apical bristle. The anellus lobe of T. fuscobasis is very reduced and the apex is sparsely setose instead of having a hooked bristle.

Distribution. China (Hubei, Jilin), Japan, Russia (Primorsk Territory).

Remarks. This species has two brown streaks on the thorax according to the original description, but these are absent in the Chinese specimens examined and the thorax is entirely white.
