Diagnosis. Adult ( Figs 1F View FIGURE 1 , 18D, E View FIGURE 18 ). Wingspan 10.5−12.0 mm. This species can be distinguished easily from its congeners by the tufted segment II of the labial palpus and the dark brownish forewing with dorsum broadly yellowish white. The male genitalia ( Fig. 42B View FIGURE 42 ) are characterized by the asymmetrical valvae with a strikingly narrowed base and a broad distal part, the strongly curved anellus lobe and the narrowly bifurcate apex of the aedeagus. The female genitalia ( Fig. 59A View FIGURE 59 ) are similar to those of T. rufimarginata and T. rhodomicta in having a well-sclerotized antrum and a semielliptical signum, but the antrum is broader and the apophyses anteriores are much longer in T. scatebrosa compared to those of latter two species.

Distribution. China (Yunnan), India, Thailand.

Remarks. This species is recorded from China and Thailand for the first time.
