Measurements. BL = 6.9 mm, BW = 1.4 mm, HL/PL/EL = 1.00: 1.10: 1.30, HW/PW/EW/AW = 1.00: 1.11: 1.42: 1.27, HW/HL = 1.02, HEL/HTL = 8.96, PW/PL = 1.03, EW/EL = 1.11, ESL/EL = 0.55.

Distribution. Quedius muscicola Cameron is known from Myanmar, and from the mountain areas from the Himalayan range ( India, Nepal) to southwestern China (Gansu, Guizhou, Hubei, Shaanxi, Sichuan and Yunnan Province), at altitudes from 650 m to 2800 m. Many of the examined specimens were collected in bushes, stacks of withered grass, leaf litter, or at the edges of creeks.
