Diagnosis: Cephalothorax rather flat, about three fourths as wide as long, usuaIly orange brown with dusky blotches and with a black marginal stripe. Both row of eyes are procurved. The abdomen is orange brown with grey blotches.
Type-species: Agroeca protensis Westring
Distribution: New England.
