General Distribution: Azerbaijan, Armenia, Bulgaria, Croatia, Georgia, Greece, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, North Macedonia, Romania, Russia (South European Territory), Syria, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Ukraine ( Löbl and Löbl 2016).
Distribution in Turkey: Izmir (Menemen) by Sahlberg (1913); listed from Izmir (Bornova) by Gül-Zümreoğlu (1975); Artvin (Yusufeli) and Erzurum (Ispir) ( Tozlu 1997). The data presented here constitute the first record of this species in Diyarbakir (Çinar).
Larval Host Plants: Citrus sp. ( Rutaceae ), Salix spp. ( Salicaceae ), Quercus ilex L. ( Fagaceae ) (Karaman and Tezcan 1998); Fraxinus spp. ( Oleaceae ), Compositae ( Bílý 1979); Acer undulatum Pojark. ( Sapindaceae ), Oleaceae ( Cebeci et al. 2018) ; V. vinifera represents a new host record.
Notes. The species was reared from V. vinifera branches of the Mazrone variety, where it apparently affected the vitality of the branches.
