TYPE SPECIES: Picconia bipartita Robineau-Desvoidy, 1863 (as “ Picconia bi-partita, R.-D.”) [= Tachina incurva Zetterstedt, 1844 ], by monotypy.
CURRENT STATUS: Valid genus [teste Herting & Dely-Draskovits (1993: 166)].
