Comments

This species has been identified as the most common and harmful species that determine the mite fauna of bulbous flowers in Turkey during 2000 and 2002 ( Bayram and Çobanoğlu 2006). Medeni and Yılmaz (2010) identified it in house dust in Muş-Hasköy. Kılıç et al. (2012) reported damage of the species on onion in İzmir-Bayındır, Menemen and Tire. Kumral and Cobanoglu (2015b) found it on dog grape ( Solanaceae ) plant in Bursa.

In this study, R. robini was found in 33 villages of Taşköprü, Hanönü and Centrum in Kastamonu province.
