У Командорских островов обитает на глубинах от 40 до 250 м, на скалистых и галечных грунтах.

Р а с п р о с т р а н е н и е. Тихоокеанский преимуЩественно приаЗиатский широкобореальный вид. Встречается от о-ва Хонсю и северной части Японского моря до Берингова моря.
