Distribution. Cryptodromia coronata is a new record for the Philippines. It has been recorded from Indonesia on several occasions: Amboina (De Man 1888 a), Salawati and Rote ( Ihle 1913) and Timor and Obi Latoe, Moluccas ( Buitendijk 1939). Cryptodromia coronata is also known from Japan, New Caledonia, Samoa and Polynesia; and a key to the genus can be found in McLay (2001a: 827).
