Distribution: BFO, CAM, ERI, ETI, GAM, GBI, GUI, MLI, NIG, NRE, RCH, RCI, SEN, SUD.

Distribution in Guinea-Bissau (Administrative Regions): 1) BOL, CAC.

Historic records:

— Bolama (BOL) [ Janson 1907 sub P. (Pachnodula) interrupta Fabricius ];

— Suzana (=Susana) (CAC) ( Brivio 1958).

Material examined: none.

Remarks. The species is widely distributed since SEN to ETI ( Tauzin 2017; Schoolmeesters 2019). Léonard (2005) reported the wide chromatic diversity of this species in ETI (“Parc de l’Awash ”). Tauzin (2017) provided a compilation of biological and ecological information (e.g. life cycle, phenology, habitat preference, control) of this species (adults and larvae).
