Paraschistura naseeri (Ahmad & Mirza, 1963) View in CoL

Remarks. This species was identified from the Madyan stream at Madyan, Swat Valley, Pakistan, and listed by Coad (1981: 14 as Noemacheilus (Schistura) naseeri ; 2014: 329) as a possible distributed species in Afghanistan, although there is no confirmed record in the country. There is not any direct link to Swat Valley via any waterway from Afghanistan. The presence of the species needs clarification.
