Aborichthys boutanensis ( McClelland, 1842)

Remarks. This species was identified from Bolan Pass, Afghanistan [now Bhutan], as Cobitis boutanensis McClelland, 1842 . This species is listed by Coad (1981: 12; 2014: 251) as Paracobitis boutaneusis . According to Coad (2014, 2015), it may not be an Afghan species but one from somewhere else in South Asia, like Bhutan, and not Afghanistan ( Thoni & Hart 2015). The presence of the species needs clarification.
