Phenology:— Flowering time february to april (see also Al-Eisawi & Al-Ruzayza 2015).
Habitat and elevation:— Human-made habitat on sandy soils, 250–580 m a.s.l. (see also (Al-Eisawi & AlRuzayza 2015).
Chromosome number:— 2n = 34.
Alien status:— Archeophyte species native to to Mediterranean area and other parts of Europe, it can be considered as naturalized in Saudi Arabia (see also Chaudhary et al. 1981).
Occurrence in Saudi Arabia ( Fig. 2 View FIGURE 2 ):— Hail ( El-Ghanim et al. 2010), Makkah ( Al-Eisawi & Al-Ruzayza 2015), Riyhad (our investigation).
