Material examined. Greece: holotype male, Greece (Epire), coll. de Metsovon, pâturages avec Rhododendron , 28.4.1973, B. Hauser leg. (NHMG)
Distribution. Greece (Strasser 1976; Lazányi et al. 2012).
Diagnosis. Differs from all consubgeners by the bent, plate-like anterior process of the opisthomere (ap), most visible from lateral view ( Fig. 3d View FIGURES 3 a – f ).
Opisthomere’s ( Figs 3a–b, 3d View FIGURES 3 a – f ) posterior process (pp) thin and reaching the height of solenomere. Solenomere’s processes (asp and psp) subequal in length.
Both sexes are reddish-brown with two bright longitudinal dorsal bands. Body length and height: males: 31– 37.6mm, 2–2.5mm; female (Strasser 1976): 34mm, 3mm.
Remarks. Endemic species to Greece. Female vulva unknown.
