Gauduas . One ♂.

The MHNG collection contains two gonopods in alcohol ( MHNG-ARTO-14350 ). The vial containing them has the label “ Batodesmus acceptus Carl , ♂ type, gonopode” indicating that they belong to the holotype, while a photocopy of an original label in the jar gives the locality as “ Colombie ”. The whereabouts of the rest of the specimen is unknown.
