Illeis shensiensis Timberlake, 1943: 61 (Holotype male, NM; Type locality: China).—Bielawski 1961: 358; Ren et al. 2009: 243; Das et al. 2020b: 33.
Notes. It is similar to the other Indian species of Illeis with two-spotted pronotum and yellow elytra. It was originally described from China and Das et al. (2020b) recorded it from the north-eastern Indian state of Arunachal Pradesh and illustrated the male genitalia. See Timberlake (1943), Bielawski (1961a) and Ren et al.
