Diagnosis, Adult ( Fig. 13 View FIGURES 9–16 ) wingspan 26.0–28.0 mm. Calamotropha franki is characterized by the white forewing densely covered with pale brown scales, the brownish orange medial and subterminal fasciae, a dark brown medial dot and the eight evenly distributed black dots of the terminal margin; in the male genitalia by the valva with clustered long setae at middle near ventral margin and apically produced to a large rounded process, and the spine shaped cornutus about 1/7 as long as the phallus ( Fig. 37 View FIGURES 34–39 ); in the female genitalia by the enlarged elliptical antrum covered with dense microtrichia ( Fig. 58 View FIGURES 56–60 ).
