Record as epibiont on cnidarians: This species was described as epibiont on hydroids, collected in the Kiel Bay of the Notrh Sea ( Precht 1935).
Record as epibiont on other hosts: This species was found on algae and crustaceans Idotea chelipes (Pallas, 1766) (= Idotea viridis (Slabber, 1778)) , I. balthica (= I. tricuspidata Desmarest, 1823 ) and Carcinus maenas (Linnaeus, 1758) from the same locality ( Precht 1935). This species was also reported on Idotea balthica basteri (Pallas, 1772) in the Black Sea near Crimea coast (Jankowksi 2007). It was reported as epibiont on legs of the crab Hemigrapsus sp. and on the green algae Ulva sp. from the South Sea of Korea ( Sun et al. 2012).
