Record as epibiont on cnidarians: The species (under name Paracineta crenata var. gracilis Wailes, 1928 ) was described by Wailes (1928, 1943) found on hydroids from Porlier Pass, strait of Gorgia, British Columbia, Canada.
Remarks: This species has not been been reported after its first discovery.
Kahl (1934) adduced the short diagnosis of the species and named it as T. gracilis . Jankowski (2007) made the T. gracilis as the type species of genus Litacineta Jankowski, 1978 but believed that the systematic position of the species unclear. Dovgal (2002) in turn synonymized the generic name Litacineta with Thecacineta .
