Palarus laetus View in CoL is known from the Afrotropical ( Benin, Burkina Faso, Djibouti, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Senegal, Sudan, Togo), Palaearctic (e.g. Oman, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates) and Oriental regions. The record from Eritrea is not mentioned in INNES BEY (1911: 112). Larra annulata WALKER, 1871 View in CoL is a junior homonym of Larra annulata KLUG, 1845 View in CoL .
