Distribution. The species has been reported from Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Ecuador, French Guiana, Panama, and Peru ( Metcalf 1963a; Sanborn 2011 a, 2013 c, 2018b, 2019 a, 2020 a, c, 2023; Sanborn & Heath 2014; Nunes et al. 2023).
