Distribution. The species has been reported from the Antilles, Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, French Guiana, Guyana, Honduras, Panamá, Peru, Venezuela, and the West Indies ( Metcalf 1963a; Sanborn 2011 a, 2013, 2014, 2018b, 2020a, e; Nunes et al. 2023).
