Distribution. Species with possible origin from subtropical China ( Chu & Wang 1975; Plarre 2010; Lyal 2011)
Material examined. Over 100 specimens (KrC, KUMN, SIZK).
Biology. In grain storage ficilities; escaped individuals are occasionally collected in natural habitats. Adults occur in I–XII. Oligophagous on Poaceae ; develops in grains of Oryza sativa , Triticum spp., Secale spp., occasionally in other dry stored products.
