Distribution. Europe, Nearctic Region ( Alonso-Zarazaga 2013)
Material examined. 80 specimens ( DMLU, KUMN, SIZK, NSPU, ZMUK, BKC, GC) from Cherkasy, Chernivtsi, Dnipro, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kharkiv, Khmelnytskyi, Kyiv, Lviv, Odesa, Poltava, Sumy, and Volyn Provinces ; Crimea : 1 spec. ( FRC) en route from Sudak to Çatır Dağ Mt. , S. Alexeenko leg., 2–8.v.2004
Biology. Forests, gardens, shrublands, meadows, floodplains, fields. Adults occur in III–IX. On Salix viminalis , S. triandra , S. cinerea (Salicaceae) , Fragaria vesca , Rubus caesius , Sanguisorba officinalis , Potentilla erecta (Rosaceae) (Smreczyński 1968). In Ukraine development and feeding in field were observed only on herbaceous and semi-shrub Rosaceae .
