Distribution. Europe, Caucasus; introduced to USA and Canada.
Material examined. Kyiv Prov.: 1 spec. ( SIZK) Kyiv; Odesa Prov.: 2 spec. ( SIZK) Prymorske, Zhebriyanskie plavni, V. M. Ermolenko leg., 17.v.1996 .
Biology. Sandy biomes: maritime coasts and lakeshores, river banks, pine forests on sands. Adults occur in V– VI. Polyphagous, prefers Rumex acetosella and Cytisus .
