Distribution. Europe, Caucasus, Asia Minor, North Africa ( Colonnelli 2013).
Material examined. Crimea: 2 spec. ( ZIN) Krasnolissya, sweeping, Barrios leg., 10.vi.1982 ; Luhansk Prov.: 1 spec. ( ZIN) Stanitsa Luhanska, Luhansk env., Talicky leg., 6.vi.1928 .
Biology. Stony slopes, steppes, agricultural habitats. Adults occur in IV–IX ( Dieckmann 1972b). On Amaryllidaceae : Allium oleraceum , A. ursinum , A. vineale ( Hoffmann 1954; Dieckmann 1972b; Smreczyński 1974); Allium cepa ( Dieckmann 1972b) ; A. schoenoprasum ( Dieckmann 1972b; Smreczyński 1974); A. strictum (Isayev 2007) and Leopoldia comosa (Asparagaceae) ( Hoffmann 1954; Colonnelli 2004a).
