Biology. Forest edge, shrublands. Adults occur in III–VII ( Dieckmann 1986). On Salicaceae : Salix caprea ( Penecke 1928; Hoffmann 1958; Smreczyński 1972; Dieckmann 1986); S. pentandra , S. triandra ( Hoffmann 1958; Smreczyński 1972); S. aurita ( Hoffmann 1958; Smreczyński 1972; Dieckmann 1986); S. cinerea , Populus tremula ( Arnoldi et al. 1965; Dieckmann 1986); P. nigra ( Ioannisiani 1972) ; S. viminalis (Isayev 2007) .
