Distribution. West Palaearctic ( Alonso-Zarazaga 2011a).
Material examined. Kherson Prov.: 1 spec. ( ZIN) Black Sea Biosphere Reserve, Solenoozerny Division , Krivokhatsky leg., 21.v.1990 ; Zhytomyr Prov.: 1 spec. ( ZIN) Zhytomyr env., Birulya leg., 9.vi.1897 ; 1 spec. ( ZIN) Borschiv, ca 12 km from Radomyshl , Birulya leg., 19.vi.1910 ; 1 spec. ( ZIN) idem, 30.vi.1910 .
Biology. Pineforests, sandy and stony habitats. Adults occur in V–X ( Dieckmann 1977). On Rumex acetosella (Polygonaceae) ( Penecke 1928; Hoffmann 1958; Dieckmann 1977; Mazur 2002).
