Distribution. Palaearctic (excluding North Africa, Middle East and Middle Asia) ( Ter-Minasian 1950)
Material examined. 61 specimens ( KUMN, SIZK) .
Biology. Nemoral and boreal forests. Adults occur in V–VII.In Ukraine feeds mainly on Corylusavellana, recorded also on Alnus spp., Betula spp., Carpinus spp., Fagus sylvatica , Quercus spp., Salix spp., Populus tremula , and Tilia spp. ( Ter-Minasian 1950)
