Type species: Tuberfemurus laminatus Zheng, 1992 View in CoL , by monotypy and original designation.
Description and differential diagnosis. Deng & Lu (2019) provided a detailed redescription of the genus (see Deng & Lu 2019). Tuberfemurus spp. share the following characteristics: median carina of pronotum is strongly lamellate elevated, in profile arch-like; the hind femur has gently serrate upper and lower carinae, lower outer keel with two to three projections, the upper side has a series of thick tubercles; and the tegmina and hind wings absent.
Composition and distribution. Altogether, five species are now assigned to the genus Tuberfemurus . These are distributed in China and Thailand. Four species of the genus Tuberfemurus are found in China
