Definition. Raspailia View in CoL with echinating rhabdostyles geometrically very different from the usually longer choanosomal styles (the latter without any basal rhabd); extra-axial styles forming a radial skeleton perpendicular to the axis; and well differentiated axial and extra-axial skeletons (the former compressed, the latter plumoreticulate and/or radial) (from Hooper et al. 2008).
