Diagnosis. Forewing R2+3 unbranched, R4+5 branched as illustrated, with three veins; M with four primary branches, M3 and M4 forked proximally. Hindwing with caeciliusid venation. Phallosome with side struts slender, aedeagal arch stout, strongly sclerotized, with sides converging to a pointed apex. Lateral endophallic sclerites large, bilobed as illustrated, mesal sclerites short, slender, pointed at both ends. It is similar to G. yarumosensis n. sp., from which it differs in forewing venation, in phallosome and in endophallic sclerites.
Color (in 80% ethanol). Body brown. Head yellowish brown ( Fig. 75 View FIGURES 73‒78 ), front with diffuse ochre spots between inner margin of compound eyes and postclypeus; genae brown, with ochre spots. Compound eyes dark brown, ocelli hyaline, with ochre centripetal crescents; striae of postclypeus inconspicuous. Maxillary palps and antennae brown. Thorax brown, tergal lobes of meso- and metathorax brown with dark brown spots, pleura brown, with ochre spots. Legs brown, tibiae and tarsi dark brown. Forewings ( Fig. 73 View FIGURES 73‒78 ), hyaline, veins brown. Hindwings ( Fig. 74 View FIGURES 73‒78 ) hyaline, veins brown. Abdomen brown, tergum with ochre spots. Clunium and hypandrium brown. Epiproct pale brown, paraprocts brown. Endophallic sclerites dark brown, side struts and aedeagal arch brown.
Morphology. As in diagnosis, plus the following: Head: H/MxW: 1.48; compound eyes large, H/D: 3.08; IO/ MxW: 0.75. Outer cusp of lacinial tips broad, with seven denticles. Mx4/Mx2: 1.07. Forewings ( Fig. 73 View FIGURES 73‒78 ): FW/W: 2.92; pterostigma elongate, wider in the middle: lp/wp: 4.25, areola postica wide, rounded: al/ah: 2.75. Hindwings ( Fig. 74 View FIGURES 73‒78 ): HW/w: 3.20. Hypandrium ( Fig. 76 View FIGURES 73‒78 ), slightly concave in the middle posteriorly, setae as illustrated. Phallosome ( Fig. 77 View FIGURES 73‒78 ) with an incision anteriorly in the middle; side struts straight, slender, anteriorly wide; V-shaped aedeagal arch, with short and narrow apical process; external parameres well developed, wide, joined to the side struts, posteriorly rounded, with pores. Endophallic sclerites ( Fig. 77 View FIGURES 73‒78 ). Paraprocts ( Fig. 78 View FIGURES 73‒78 ), oval, with setae and macrosetae on distal field; sensory fields large, with 21 trichobothria on basal rosettes. Epiproct ( Fig. 78 View FIGURES 73‒78 ) slightly convex anteriorly, rounded posteriorly, with a mesal seta and distal setal field.
Measurements. FW: 2700, HW: 2030, F: 710, T: 1165, t1: 525, t2: 144, ctt1: 23, f1: 430, f2: 325, f3: 257.5, f4: 161, IO: 350, D: 223, d: 168, IO/d: 2.08, PO: 0.75.
Specimens studied. Holotype male. PERU. Cuzco. Kosñipata, Pillcopata, Sapam Sachayoc-Tunky Wasi , 13°02’20.0”S: 71°30’22.2”W, 1200 m., 1–2.X.2019, N. Carrejo & R. González, led light trap in forest canopy GoogleMaps . Paratypes: 1 female, 2 males, same data as the holotype GoogleMaps .
Etymology. The specific epithet is a name in apposition that refers to the type locality, Pillcopata, Cuzco, Peru.
