Richard's specimens in DGF. Lectotype (selected here) USNM 1134578 About USNM : Parthenogenetic female, on slide, well-preserved, with Richard number 282, labelled “ Alona sarsi Richard , ♀, Célèbes (Luwu), Max Weber, 1890” . Paralectotype (selected here) USNM 1134579 About USNM : Parthenogenetic female in relatively good state on slide with Richard number 281, labelled “ Alona sarsi Richard , ♀, Célèbes, Luwu – Max Weber, 1890” .

Non-type specimens: A few females in sample DGF 860, “Luwu. Célèbes ”.

Comments. Recent species description (Van Damme et al. 2010) should be revised using Richard's specimens.
