Diagnosis. Antennal clava brown, same color as funicle ( Fig. 9 View FIGURES 7 – 12 ). Mesoscutellar disc coriaceous in area enclosed by submedian grooves, without carinae. Fore wing without dark area ( Figs 7, 11 View FIGURES 7 – 12 ). Petiole 3.9× as long as broad ( Fig. 12 View FIGURES 7 – 12 ).

Description. Female: Body length 2.2 mm.

Color: head pale yellow ( Fig. 8 View FIGURES 7 – 12 ); flagellum brown; eye reddish. Mesosoma mostly pale orangish-brown ( Fig. 10 View FIGURES 7 – 12 ). Fore wing without dark area ( Figs 7, 11 View FIGURES 7 – 12 ). Legs yellowish but darker at apical tarsomeres and metatibial apex. Petiole orangish-brown to dark brown ( Fig. 12 View FIGURES 7 – 12 ), darker antero-dorsally; gaster yellow to dark brown, darker in a subapical transverse band.

Head ( Fig. 8 View FIGURES 7 – 12 ) 1.4× as broad as tall; eye height 2.0× malar space and 1.4× mouth width; genae concave; vertex carinate posterior to ocellar triangle. Antenna ( Fig. 9 View FIGURES 7 – 12 ); scape 5.6× as long as broad, F1 4.1× as long as broad, F2 3.3× as long as broad, F3 2.9× as long as broad, F4 2.9× as long as broad, clava 2-segmented.

Mesosoma ( Fig. 10 View FIGURES 7 – 12 ) 1.7× as long as broad; transverse pronotal carina sharp, pronotal collar coriaceous posterior to carina; mesoscutum 1.5× as broad as pronotal collar, coriaceous, midlobe and lateral lobe each with many unpaired setae anteriorly and 1 pair of larger setae posteriorly; axillae coriaceous; mesoscutellar disc coriaceous, with simple U-shaped submedian groove interrupted by a raised area posteromedially; metascutellum smooth. Propodeum ( Figs 10, 12 View FIGURES 7 – 12 ) smooth between median carina and postspiracular furrow; callus with 8 setae in one row.

Fore wing ( Fig. 11 View FIGURES 7 – 12 ) 2.4× as long as broad; relative lengths of costal cell & venation: costal cell 2.8, marginal vein 2.9, postmarginal vein 1.6, stigmal vein 1.0. Hind wing 4.0× as long as broad, apically broadly rounded.

Petiole 3.9× as long as broad ( Fig. 12 View FIGURES 7 – 12 ), with longitudinal carinae at dorsolateral corners, ventrally smooth; gaster 1.6× as long as broad, smooth.

Male. Unknown.

Material examined. Holotype: ♀, North Vietnam, 70 km NW from Hanoi, Ba Vi forest, 22.11.1990 (S. Belokobilskij) ( ZISP), UCRCENT117738.

Etymology: Derived from the Latin lucus, meaning “forest,” and the type locality Ba Vi near Hanoi. The specific epithet is a noun that does not change with changing generic gender.
