Priscibrumus trijunctus ( Kapur, 1973)
Exochomus trijunctus Kapur, 1973: 377 .
Priscibrumus trijunctus : Kovář 1997: 117; Poorani 2002: 314.
Kapur (1973) described it as Exochomus trijunctus from Karakoram range and illustrated only the dorsal habitus. It is stated to be similar to P. uropygialis and P. lituratus in having “a pubescent dorsum, black head and pronotum, and reddish testaceous elytra” but differs in having three black elytral vittae that become confluent near the apices. However, Kapur (1973) mentioned that both P. lituratus and P. uropygialis are larger species with coarser, more impressed and uneven elytral punctation compared to P. trijunctus (only 3.1 mm long). He did not describe or illustrate the male genitalia of P. trijunctus and only stated that the genitalia of P. trijunctus “ show differences in respect of the shape of the sipho and median lobe”. Kovář (1997) transferred it to Priscibrumus .
Distribution. Karakoram range.
