Crocisaspidia zonaria is known from the Afrotropical ( Cameroon, Chad, Eritrea, Ghana, Malawi, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, Sudan, Togo) and Palaearctic ( Egypt, Saudi Arabia) regions. WALKER (1871) described this species from Eritrea and not from Sudan as mentioned in EARDLEY & URBAN 2010: 89).
